Perfectly Plated

So, you’ve opted for a plated meal? Great choice! We love a perfectly plated dish 😍 There are a few more details that go into this type of meal service vs. a buffet, and we’re here to share all the details.

Place Cards

These are essential for successful service. Place cards should include the guest’s first + last name, their table number, and a meal indicator.

What’s a meal indicator?

This is usually an image or word on the place card that lets servers know which entree guests have chosen. These should be clearly marked and easily recognizable. Some of the easiest options are simply the first letter of the protein (B for Beef) or a cute little image like a cow, chicken, fish, etc.

Guests will pick up their card during cocktail hour and then place it at the head of their place setting.

*Pro tip – your caterer will also want a full seating list with guest’s names, table numbers, and meal choices. They’ll look this over prior to the event to ensure it matches the numbers of entrees order properly.

The Entrees

How do guests know what their meal options are?
It’s best to include the protein options on your invites. Don’t worry – if you haven’t selected your final menu when these go out, simply list something like Beef, Chicken, Fish, etc. It’s common for couples to offer a choice between two proteins and include a section to enter dietary restrictions. Think things like Gluten Free, Dairy Allergy, Vegetarian/Vegan, etc. When a guest RSVPs, they simply mark their entree choice on the reply card.

The Place Setting

Renting flatware? You’ll need a few specific items:

Salad Fork
Salad Knife
Dinner Fork
Dinner Knife (be sure to order steak knives if you’re serving this entree)

Serving a soup course? Don’t forget spoons!

*Pro tip – if you’re ordering flatware, we recommend ordering butter knives and dessert forks. This ensures all your flatware matches and looks cohesive in photos. Also consider ordering 15%-20% extra (someone is bound to drop a fork) 😉

When it comes to china, you’ll want to keep plate covers in mind. These are a must as they allow the catering team to stack meals to deliver to your guests. If you’re not using the caterer’s provided china, you’ll want to rent plate covers that fit the china you’ve selected. The caterer’s covers will definitely fit their house china, but there’s no guarantee it will fit other plates.

Wedding Venue Tours 101 | Cypress Grove Estate House

Let’s face it, planning a wedding can be overwhelming. But fear not, lovebirds! Whether you’re a Type-A personality who has color-coded spreadsheets for the big day or you’re just winging it (hey, it happens), we’ve got your back. We know choosing the perfect venue is a big decision, so we’ve come up with a few tips to help you get the most out of touring with us:

1. Discuss Details & Budget.

The elephant in the room when it comes to wedding planning – 💵💵💵

We get it; talking money can be stressful, but it’s important to know your max budget before touring. Have an honest conversation with your partner and whoever’s pitching in cost-wise to figure out how much you’re willing to spend on the venue. Keep in mind, we also have in-house catering, so you’re really working with two parts of the budget.

Ask yourself – if I really love this venue, how much am I willing to spend on it? Is there another category I can save on to get my dream venue?

When it comes to food, costs vary based on the meal service and bar. Buffet is most cost-effective at Cypress Grove, and plated entrees are priced based on the protein. Bars vary in price; we have five levels to choose from so there’s a good fit for just about every budget.

Pro tip: Check out or handy budget calculator here! You can play around with different guest counts and meal types to see what works best for your budget.

2. Schedule an appointment.

It’s always best to schedule a time to stop by.  Not only does it guarantee your slot, but we’ll have everything prepped for you: info on your date availability, packages that work best for your budget, and we can make catering recommendations best suited for your event. If you choose to pop in without a heads up, there’s a chance we’ll be hosting a photoshoot, another tour, or an event. Yes, we host events seven days a week 😉

You’re probably wondering – can we schedule a tour on the weekend?

The short answer – it depends! There’s a good chance we’re booked for an event, but if that’s the case, we may be able to get you in before the bride arrives. We try our best to accommodate weekend tours, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out. Keep that in mind when scheduling, especially if you’re coming from out of town.

3. Get Smart About Your Wedding Venue.

Ask questions and take notes! We can’t read your mind, so please ask us any questions you have. No question is a silly question! We’re the experts and want to help you get the most out of your tour.

Jot down a few essential questions and amenities you want in a venue before heading to your appointment. It’s the best way to ensure you get the information you need to make an informed decision.

Remember that elephant we mentioned earlier? Well… there are actually two elephants at Cypress Grove. The other one? Rain.

Cypress Grove is 100% outdoors so there’s no indoor backup. We hear it all the time – it’s not going to rain on OUR wedding day 😜 In reality, there’s a good chance it will rain on your wedding day {that’s Florida for you, especially in Spring and Summer} so be prepared for the “tent talk”.  They’re highly encouraged and can be just as beautiful as the venue itself with the right details. Think of it as an insurance plan! We don’t rent these out ourselves, but we know a great vendor that can help!

Not sure where to start with a tent? Check out some quick tips here!

4. Have Fun.

Don’t forget the most important part of wedding planning – HAVE FUN! Sure, it can get stressful, but keep your eyes on the prize and remember why you’re doing this in the first place: throwing the best party to celebrate you and your partner 🎉🥂

Happy hunting, and if you need a hand or have questions before your tour… holla at us!

Muted Rainbow | Wedding Chicks Feature

We’re so excited to be a part of this stunning shoot, featured on Wedding Chicks! To read the full post, click here.

The Muted Rainbow-inspired shoot was created by Roots to Stem, and we knew it was going to be amazing. We were so thrilled to be able to provide our Cane Louis chairs for the event and they look gorgeous at The Howey Mansion.

When we asked Alayna from Roots to Stem what inspired the colorful, whimsical design of this shoot, she said that they wanted to bring color to the “neutral” world that we see so much of these days, but they wanted to show that your wedding doesn’t have to be just one color, it can be many. And it can be fabulous and scream luxury all at the same time!

If you want to read more about their inspiration on wedding chicks, click here.

Oh, and we just can't get enough of these new pieces...

Check out some of our new inventory items that made it in the shoot!

Wedding Layout | Designing the Perfect Flow

Wedding Layout | Mixed reception tables add a fun visual look!

You may not think it, but your wedding layout makes a big difference – it helps the event flow smoothly and keeps guests happy + comfortable. Not sure where to start? Check out some of our top tips for creating the perfect layout:

Entertainment + Dance Floor

Regardless of whether you’re having a band or a DJ, you’ll want to make sure they have a prime location next to the dance floor so they can keep the party going. The same rule applies if you’re having a tented reception. Once you’ve placed your entertainment vendor and dance floor, you can start placing tables!

Choosing Your Tables

We recommend starting with the bride + groom table. Will you share a sweetheart table or do you prefer a head table with your bridal party? Don’t forget to think about your guest tables – will they be seated at classic rounds or are you bringing in specialty tables? We love when couples mix things up and feature rounds + captain’s tables or farm tables! Be sure to have table measurements on hand to ensure they’ll fit comfortably in the reception space.

Wedding Layout | Mixed reception tables add a fun visual look!

Arranging the Tables

With measurements in hand, arranging the tables is pretty simple. The newlyweds get the best view {of course!}, and immediate family {parents + siblings} should have a clear view of the couple. Elderly guests are a special case as your parents may want them seated at their table. Be sure to note how close their tables are to the entertainment, though. Elderly guests may appreciate being seated farther away from speakers. It’s best to keep things symmetrical; it looks much prettier in photos that way and makes things easier for the catering team.

Don't Forget the Bar

Often times, the bar is a big draw for your guests.  Help your wedding layout flow smoothly by placing it near the dance floor and away from any high traffic areas {like a path to the catering kitchen}. When creating your reception layout, don’t forget to allocate a space for it if it’s not built-in or mobile!

Layout Programs

One of our favorite tools for wedding planning is a layout creator. These allow you to drop different size tables, chairs, and more to see what fits best in your venue’s space!

Bridal Portraits | A Tradition

The history of bridal portraits actually began as a Southern tradition for brides and their families. So it’s only fitting to highlight some of our favorite Luxmore brides here at our gorgeous Southern estate!

Having a private moment between the bride and their photographer is so important in building rapport and capturing that perfect photo. It’s easy to tell in a portrait if a bride feels comfortable, and there are plenty of unique areas throughout the estate for the ideal portrait session.

Getting ready is another great time to sneak a few one-on-one pics! The bridal suite at Luxmore Grande is one of the largest in Central Florida; so make sure to set aside some extra time for bridal portraits in this beautiful space.

The Women Behind the Brand | Kimberly

Hey, there! I’m Kim – some people call me a unicorn because they hear about/from me, but never actually see me in person 😉 I’ve worked for RW Events for 10+ years, and about five years ago I relocated to Arkansas. I was so blessed to be able to keep my position with the company and work from home, so that’s why I’m not around too often. Why Arkansas, you ask? The Florida heat and humidity are not my friends, I love the cold but not snowstorms, and the seasons here are AMAZING! Color-changing leaves, wildflowers in the Spring, lake days in the summer {I’m not a beach person – no sand or sharks for me!}, and cozy fireplaces in the winter – yes, please!

Working for a small company for such a long time has really given me the chance to learn the ins and outs of the business; I’ve got my hands in all the pots at this point – marketing, client accounts, vendor relations, human resources… you name it, I’ve probably done it!

Being a unicorn is great {I’m pretty introverted so I love having a solitary work space}, but there’s one downfall – if you haven’t been following the RW brand for quite some time, you probably don’t know me! That’s my goal this year, to make myself more visible. Starting with, you guessed it, Instagram! Be sure to follow me at @rwevents_kimberly – I’ll do my best to update bi-weekly for now 😉

We were so thrilled when Cara + Jon reached out about hosting their emerald & gold wedding at Luxmore! In case you don’t know, Cara was actually part of the RW Events team a few years back. So hosting her wedding was such a special treat for us =)

Bride and Groom after the ceremony

It’s funny, when you work in the wedding industry, you get a good idea of what you want for your own wedding well before it comes to fruition 😉 Cara had always talked about doing emerald & gold wedding colors, and she did just that! She hit the nail on the head with her rock star vendor team and choosing the perfect details for the soiree!

The Reception

Their neutral reception decor looks so stunning at Luxmore, and compliments the bride’s personal style so well; classic + elegant. To mix things up a little, they incorporated a fun combo of traditional rounds with our Wesley Farm Tables. The white floral and ivory linen really make the farm tables and gold accent decor pop!

Pro tip: to be more cost-effective, repurpose items if you can! The couple’s arbor was used for the ceremony and they also used it as a sweetheart table backdrop.

Live, Love, Laugh Events | Vendor Spotlight

We always tell our clients they can’t go wrong when choosing a wedding planner from our preferred list, and that’s the truth. We’re incredibly fortunate to have a group of talented, kind, and professional planners! But this post is about one in particular, Rebecca with Live, Love, Laugh Events. Every client and vendor who’s lucky enough to work with Rebecca gets to experience her bubbly personality, beaming smile, and attention to detail! Even though the current climate is stressful for planning a wedding, Rebecca is adaptable and present for her clients. Her latest Luxmore bride said it best:

PICK REBECCA! She is such an amazing planner. She's very organized, was always a phone call away, and helped me plan during COVID-19. She made the wedding day flawless. I never felt like anything was out of place. She is very vocal about her opinions, which makes planning a wedding fantastic. You never knew anything bad would happen under her watch because of how on top of things she was. Since we got married during COVID, a lot of guests chose not to come the day of the wedding and she made the table arrangements work that day. Amazing planner, I will miss working with her!

Rebecca’s clients compliment her preparedness, organizational skills, and her ability to make an authentic connection. She makes every couple feel special and puts them at ease on wedding day. Our event team loves to work weddings with Live, Love, Laugh Events because it’s guaranteed to be a fun, on time, and gorgeous wedding day!

Thank you, Rebecca, for making every event you work amazing!

Lighting | Creating an Atmosphere

Lighting | Market lighting drapes the amphitheater at Cypress Grove Estate house

In case you didn’t already know, we’re design junkies 😉 We love working with clients and their vendors to create an atmosphere + aesthetic for their special day!

Creating a cohesive look is one of the most important aspects of any event. Think about it… even if you + your gal pals are heading to brunch or planning the next girl’s night out, you stalk all the hot spots in town on social media. And we bet you’ll choose the one that has the best overall aesthetic! We all want those insta worthy pics, right!? The same goes for your wedding – creating an atmosphere pulls everything together and gets you those gorgeous pics you’ve been dreaming of!

One of the most important details in creating an atmosphere is – you guessed it, lighting! The right lighting can make your guests feel relaxed and even excited + energized. Think romantic market lighting + candles for an evening meal and then get those guests dancing with fun, color uplights!

These enhancements can take a space from drab to fab in seconds, and create the aesthetic you’re looking for. So, if the question comes to mind, whether or not to add that extra string of market lights or perfectly placed up-lights behind your sweetheart table… we say “Go for it!” You’re going to look your best, so give your event space the glow up it deserves!

Tropical Wedding Foliage | Incorporating it Into Your Decor

If you haven’t noticed, tropical decor has kind of become {one of} our things. 😉 We feature tropical wedding foliage in all of our living walls, and love incorporating it into our other styling services! It can be tricky if you don’t have the right vendor team, and we’ve got our florist partner sharing some of her tricks of the trade!

Flowers by Lesley is out go-to when it comes to all things floral!

What are the best tropical flowers and plants for weddings?

I love protea, not a secret there. It can either have a tropical look or a boho vibe. They’re a large flower and really you can just use one for a bridesmaids bouquet with an accent of small filler flowers and foliage, or make a dramatic bridal bouquet with several additional flowers.

Orchids are a classic tropical flower. Cymbidiums are usually mixed with roses or hydrangeas in a classic, neat style, and the gorgeous phalaenopsis make some of the most beautiful cascade bouquets on their own. They are more expensive but so beautiful and just a few stems make a statement.

What are some unique ways to incorporate these into the wedding design?

Tropical wedding foliage alone can make a gorgeous bouquet with various shades of green and variegated with colours such as pink and reds. They are so versatile and would make for a different look. And, of course, tropical foliage makes fabulous foliage walls!

Clear glass cylinders can also be lined with foliage, camouflaging stems and giving a crisp clean look.

What’s the best time of year to use tropical foliage + flowers?

Tropical flowers are pretty much available all year round. It really depends where they come from as to the price, but we’re fortunate to have nurseries here in Central Florida.

Sideboards | Welcome to the Family, Ralphy!

Our newest sideboard, Ralphy, paired with Ice.

Boy, did we have a busy summer! A production shoot, prepping for fall wedding season, and adding new inventory have kept us on our toes! Joining the family are new upholstered pieces, sideboards, and more!

Which brings us to… Ralphy! He’s one of our newest sideboards and we love the vibe he brings! The rattan webbing makes him great for our boho brides, and the drawer style + mini legs give him a fun, modern twist.

Our newest sideboard, Ralphy!

He looks fantastic with so many of our pieces, and our pal, Melanie Paige Events, recently paired him with our new Ice chairs. What do you think of this combo? We adore the neutral tones of the tables + textiles with the pops of blue!

He’s the perfect size for lots of options – a social lounge, a cake display, or even a welcome station! Melanie opted to style him in a social lounge and used him as a photo opp for the cake 😉

Ralphy is a modern, boho sideboard.
Our newest Ice chairs are a lovely shade of slate blue and look great with our sideboards!

Wedding Tablescapes for Days

Not to brag, but we know how to design stunning wedding tablescapes. Styling is our jam, and as we prepped for fall wedding season, we decided to invite others to join us in a two-day style session! Wedding planners, photographers, florists, bakers, and calligraphers all brought their A-game and styled the day away with us! We showcased some of our favorite tables, chairs, and chargers, along with table settings from Treasury Rentals.

It was the perfect way to ease ourselves back into busy season and to see some new + familiar faces. We’re so grateful to all the vendors who joined us and we cannot resist sharing a few sneak peeks from the day with you!

Fern and Curl Designs styled blooms for two wedding tablescapes in front of the bay window. Her first design is perfect for fall and features resin floral favors by Rejoice and Blossom Art. On day two she partnered with Melanie Paige Events for a bright, organic look paired with our brand-new luxe chairs!

If anything, these two days showed us just how important flowers and greenery are for styling a beautiful tablescape! We’ve got to give a huge thank you to all of the vendors who joined us and we can’t wait to reveal more photos soon! We’ve been if we’ll do this again… The answer is yes, but give us a few months to recover, and buy new inventory 😉

Interview with a Wedding Planner | Wedding Planning Tips

Finding the right wedding planner is a big undertaking. From experience level, packages, and even meshing with their personality, there are lots of things to consider when searching for your planner. We’re so thankful to work with some of the best in Central Florida, and they’re here to answer some important questions!

Melanie Thompson, Melanie Paige Events & Design

Why should clients hire a planner?

Hiring a wedding planner for your day is so essential. Not only do we take away all the stress of planning, but also the day-of stress. Instead of having family and friends do all the work, let a planner take care of that for you! We also help you review contracts, create floor plans, help with design, making sure all the little details are taken care of, and so much more!

There's so much that goes into planning one day, and a wedding can have at least 10 vendors involved (if not more)! A planner can coordinate with the vendors so you don't have to. This way all you really need to do is show up, get married to your special someone, and have fun 😊

What are your top planning tips for couples?

Your guest count determines your budget. A budget analysis can be super helpful to help determine your budget and keep you on track. Read your contracts thoroughly and make sure anything discussed in person is in writing a well. Wedding day insurance can be a great option to protect you financially. – Shadow, The Chaos Coordinator

My first tip is that your budget and guest count go hand-in-hand. Make sure you have the talk of who is contributing to the wedding so you set your budget, as well as what the guest count will be so you can start the venue search. Having these two things taken care of first will help so much when making all the big decisions. My next tip is to make sure you book vendors as soon as you fall in love with them. Don’t wait! Due to postponements from COVID, vendors are booking up way faster than normal. Make sure you get that dream vendor of yours before it’s too late! – Melanie, Melanie Paige Events & Design

What should clients look for in a planner?

You have to actually like your wedding planner so it's important that you get to know the company and their team. Something else we always tell clients to consider is how often can you contact or meet with them. Make sure their package meets your needs at the stage you're at in the planning process. Ask them if they've worked at your venue before and what makes them stand out from their competition.

Caitlin Jones, Plan It Event Design & Management

What trends are you seeing for weddings?

More couples are opting for sustainability and it seems to be gaining more popularity each year. A second trend is providing experiences such as whiskey tastings, interactive late-night bites, a caricature artist, etc. Lastly, we are seeing an increase in weekday weddings. There are so many benefits to this trend and we are here for it!
                                                                                                                                                                          – Shadow, The Chaos Coordinator

Shadow Anderson, The Chaos Coordinator

How can clients make their wedding unique and stand out from the rest?

Focus on your personal style and what makes you feel at home. Pinterest can be overwhelming so don't get caught up on recreating someone else's wedding, but use it to inspire you. Create a wedding day that your guests will recognize as your own and reminds them of how you make them feel.

As a vendor, what are some of the biggest hurdles you’ve encountered on wedding day?

O boy, if I had to pick one thing being in Florida... weather. Rest assured that your wedding planner is keeping an eye on it!

Things running late is another. In some cases, but not all, things run late for multiple reasons: hair & make-up, photos, guest arrival delays, etc. The list goes on but it's up to us to keep the day running smoothly. The great thing about planners is we've dealt with these situations time after time and know how to get things back on track.

The Perfect Napkin Fold for Your Wedding

An often overlooked detail when it comes to weddings is the napkin fold. The right one can give your tablescape that little something extra. There are lots of options and we’re sharing a few of our favorites!

Menu Card Napkin Fold

The menu card napkin fold is the quintessential fold. It works for just about any meal style and there are so many variations! Have a taller menu card? Opt for an elongated fold to fit the card properly. We also love the “layered” style. It still accommodates a menu card (or thank you card, fresh herb sprig, etc.) and adds a touch more dimension to the tablescape.

Images: Laura K Moore Photography, Molliner Photography, Jordan Weiland Photography

The Knot

We’re seeing more and more couples opt for “The Knot” napkin fold. Maybe it’s the name (tying the knot 😉) or maybe it’s the fun style it adds!

Image: The Lemons Photography

Custom Tie

Another favorite is the custom tie or napkin ring option. This is great if you want to add an extra pop of color, a hint of sparkle, or mixed metal to the design. Pro tip: have your napkins delivered a few days early so your bridal party or coordination team can tie them ahead of time. Believe us, your caterer will thank you for all the time saved!

Horizontal Charger Wrap Napkin Fold

If you’ve opted to feature chargers as part of your tablescape, a fantastic option for your napkin fold is the horizontal charger wrap. It’ll help keep napkins securely in place (be mindful of wind if you’re having an outdoor wedding) and can be folded to accommodate a place card or menu card.

Drape Fold

Last but not least is the drape fold. We don’t see this featured quite as often, but it looks lovely in photos and can be used to highlight a favor, flatware, and more!

Decided on your favorite fold? Now it’s time to choose your napkin! Check out all the fabric options from one of our favorite vendors, Over the Top Linen!

It’s always a great day when we have new rental + styling goodies to play with. And that makes today even better because we have LOTS of new pieces! Meet the newest members of the inventory family! These pieces work perfectly if you’re incorporating tropical decor into your event.

Tropical Decor | Our newest inventory pairs perfectly with tropical inspired decor.

But, she works great with modern pieces too! And the natural foliage at Luxmore Grande Estate provides the perfect, tropical-inspired backdrop for this lounge setup 😍 Imagine being a guest at this wedding and having such a stylish space to relax in!

Sebastian is one of our most unique bar carts and makes for a fun accent piece to this relaxed social lounge. Paired with the Nala coffee table, a set of end tables, and some fun textiles, this lounge is the perfect place for your guests to relax and mingle! Want to add a touch more tropical decor? Incorporate some Philodendron Monstera or Areca Palm for a fun pop of color! Our selection of textiles, available to all of our styling clients, finishes off the look and makes this lounge picture perfect!

Fall Wedding Inspiration

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think about fall? Is it cozy sweaters + boots, your favorite soup, or maybe spending time with friends and family? Us too! But what comes to mind when you think fall wedding design? We always see the usual – deep reds and burgundy, dahlias, velvet, and so on. Don’t get us wrong – we LOVE these combos, but we also love putting a new twist on the “norm.” And with fall right around the corner, we’ve been dreaming up some fun new ideas!

Fall Wedding | The Palette: Blush, Light Blue, Eggplant, and Gold

One of our favorite ways to choose a palette – sourcing the perfect linen! Find the right one, and you can create an entire design around it! We were inspired by BBJ Linen’s Terra Fresco pattern with it’s traditional mix of bridal favorites, blush + light blue, paired with just a hint of eggplant + gold, one of our favorite fall color combos.

Fall Wedding Inspiration | White Wedding Cake with Blush and Eggplant Flowers, Textured Linen, Vintage Dessert Table, White and Blush Bouquet, Gold Chiavari Chairs, and Vintage Sofa.
Featured Inventory: Gold Chiavari Chairs, Annabelle, and Hannah

Our gold chiavari chairs, a pop of blush in the bridal bouquet, our Annabelle sofa, and just a hint of blush + eggplant in the cake all tie in the colors of the linen. Wooden + neutral elements, like our farm tables and non-traditional “floral”, add a rustic, cozy feel and help make the colors pop!

Fall Wedding Inspiration | Farm Tables and Pampas Grass

So what do you think? Would you go for this non-traditional color palette for your fall wedding?

Vendor Appreciation | Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream

Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream is another vendor that checks all the boxes when it comes to our sweet tooth! So much so, we had to give them “sweetest ever,” too! Owned by Kelly + Scott, Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream has made appearances at farmers markets, weddings, and even partnered with us for our big bridal show last year {we may have sneaked some samples during breaks ?}!

Wedding guests love this fun treat, and you can even visit them at their retail locations! Did we mention they have some of the best seasonal flavors {lemon cream pie and German chocolate cake are ?}!?

Sunset at Cypress Grove Estate

There is something so magical about sunsets. They instantly create the perfect backdrop for a lakefront ceremony and amp up the romance for an already romantic occasion. Cypress Grove Estate, a gorgeous historic venue built in 1925, offers some of the prettiest sunsets we’ve seen in Central Florida. With Cypress tree lined streets and Spanish Moss, this venue provides the perfect setting for your sunset wedding in the heart of Orlando.

Sunset weddings offer your photographer the opportunity to take advantage of “golden hour”.  Golden Hour is when the sun is low in the sky and produces a soft golden glow which makes for FABULOUS photos. The red-yellow hue of the sun’s position makes the skin look warmer rather than neutral or cold; HELLO instant tan! When does the magic happen? 45 minutes before and the 15 minutes after sunset! Fun fact: it’s the opposite for sunrise so brunch weddings can still take advantage of this time 😉. If you want to know how to take advantage of golden hour for your special day, Cypress Grove Estate makes it easy. We always try to time your ceremony so you’ll get the perfect lighting for photos as the sun dips down over Lake Jessamine. Saying your vows as the sun sets is a no-brainer!

Vendor Appreciation | Florida Candy Buffets

What’s not to love about Florida Candy Buffets!? Tasty treats {because you know we have a sweet tooth!}, stunning displays, and a fabulous owner makes them one of our favorite vendor pals and the “sweetest ever!”

Owner, Farida, is just like us – she likes everything in its place and picture-perfect! We’ll admit it – we’re both meticulous when it comes to placement ?

One of our favorite displays from Farida is this colorful {and delicious} summer display at Cypress Grove! Come on – donuts, gumballs, and cake pops? Yes, please!

Vendor Appreciation | Anna Christine Events

Christy + Laura, of Anna Christine Events, are the sweetest sisters we know, dubbing them our favorite dynamic duo! They are the brightest rays of sunshine, always arriving on wedding day with a smile on their faces and ready to help the couple have the best day ever!

These lovely ladies have been planning wedding for quite some time, and we love seeing their designs come to life at Luxmore and Cypress Grove!

They're pretty good at designing with us too!

Sunset Wedding | Cypress Grove Estate House

What’s more romantic than a sunset wedding? A lakeside, sunset wedding at Cypress Grove, of course! Everything about Nicole + Sean’s soiree was just so dreamy!

Flowers by Lesley decked the gazebo out in a stunning floral garland and the couple had a very special moment during their lakeside ceremony – Florida native butterflies were released in memory of loved ones 😭

The biggest hurdle for their sunset wedding was definitely the chance of rain. The couple opted to have a tent set up, just in case, and boy was it a lifesaver! While it did rain the morning of, thankfully the weather cleared and the ceremony + reception took place as planned. We never let a tent go to waste, though; guests mingled and nibbled on a delectable charcuterie display under the tent during cocktail hour {our foodie hearts are swooning}!

Guests were treated to a glass of champagne upon entering the reception space, and then feasted on a delicious plated meal! A late-night bite of pizza + burgers made an appearance, giving guests the chance to refuel after dancing the night away! Oh, and don’t forget about that cake – definitely non-traditional, but oh-so-delicious!

Vendor Appreciation | Kristen Kring

Listen, people often scream that they are all for community over competition… but they do very little to prove it. Not our girl, Kristen. She runs the most sought after boho friendly venue in Central Florida and has always been an ally.

The Acre is a hip property tucked in between Orlando’s swankiest neighborhood. It’s a collection of cool buildings, firepits, greenery covered walls, and the coolest team ever.

Kristen encourages all sorts of fun setups and we’ve even provided them with custom tables! She’s definitely our vote when it comes to “community over competition” – referring her is a no-brainer for brides looking for a bohemian-inspired venue .

Check out the bohemian goodness we've pulled off together!

Vendor Appreciation | Flowers by Lesley

Where do we start with Mrs. Lesley? She’s the absolute sweetest, always ready to jump in on styled shoots + events, and spunky when she wants to be ? Oh, and did we mention she loves cats? So much so, she’s become Peanut Butter’s favorite person {aka – Peanut Butter’s Jelly}! For those of you who don’t know, Peanut Butter is a kitty that’s adopted us and become Cypress Grove’s unofficial mascot. She’s the most spoiled on our team – Lesley always brings her treats!

Lesley’s floral skills are pretty amazing too and we love dreaming up creative designs with her! A few of our favs:

Let's not forget the many faces she makes during set-up - from happy, focused, to smitten 😉

We love working with and meeting vendors in the wedding industry. We had the opportunity to attend and sponsor some fun, colorful rentals for the Knot Wedding Pro Experience. Setting the Stage with Colorful Rentals

Yellow Inspired Social Lounge

We’re obsessed with the colorful rentals in this lounge set and we’re feeling the tropical vibes! The vignette’s framed with three Living Walls, incorporating a mix of tropical greenery for a unique spin on your typical hedge wall. The mustard color of our Krystal sofa and Sunflower chair complements the wildflower floral arrangements by Flowers by Lesley, making for a gorgeous backdrop for this incredible event!

The ballroom set everyone up for success, giving attendees a writing space and comfy seating with our white and gold Louis chairs. This luxe look perfectly complements the stunning recessed chandeliers!

Lovely Lounging & Champagne Break

Groomsmen Attire | Dapper Gents

While everyone anticipates what the bride might be wearing for the big day, careful thought and preparation also go into ensuring your wedding party looks just as perfect! Let’s not forget that the bride tribe is paired with a group of dapper gents, who know just how suave they look in their groomsmen attire!

The wedding day may start with a Danish paired with a glass of whiskey but ultimately leads to a day of ensuring the groom, their best friend, has nothing to worry about. Assist with the tie? They’ve got it! Help with the cufflinks? They’re your guy! Another drink? We’re on it! Knowing the crew is there to support and surround you with love and laughter, only adds to just how handsome they look at a wedding. That smile reflects a day full of laughs, inside jokes and the eagerness to tear up the dance floor.

Cultural groomsmen attire can add a fun pop of color!

Often the groom (or let’s be real, the bride) puts just as much thought into how the gentleman will look on wedding day. From tuxes to suits, traditional to cultural, navy to burgundy…these gents never disappoint! And who could forget the accessories!

Navy suits will always be a classic when it comes to groomsmen attire.

Check out some of our favorite looks below!

Try a classic like black/grey or shades of blue! Better yet, surprise your guests and go for a pop of color! We love seeing our couples embrace rich colors, playing with hunter green or burgundy for their gents!

Emerald and other jewel tones make groomsmen attire even more dapper.
A classic color for groomsmen attire, navy looks great on all the guys!

Which groomsmen attire style are you planning for the big day?

Bridesmaid Boxes | All About Gifting

There’s nothing quite like receiving a thoughtful, well put together gift, and bridesmaid boxes are no exception. Your gal pals put a lot of work into being a bridesmaid – helping with wedding plans, hosting your bridal shower, and more! What better way to thank them than with a sweet, heartfelt gift!?

And we all know there’s only one place to get the perfect bridesmaid boxes – Miscellaneous Market ? With all sorts of goodies from home decor and beauty products to handbags and accessories, you’re sure to find something to suit each of your bridesmaids. With so many options, brides can browse the store for their favorite items or have our team create something special for you!

Bridesmaid boxes are the perfect way to thank your gal pals for all their wedding planning help. Customize boxes with items selected just for each lady.

One of the great aspects of bridal boxes is that you can customize them for each of your bridesmaids. I love the idea of all the ladies receiving a piece of jewelry to wear on wedding day, but mix things up and include one or two items chosen specifically for each lady. It’ll make them feel so loved and will add that much more personality to your gifts.

Xoxo,

P.S. Self-care is one of my favorite hobbies, and the blush eyemask and rose quartz roller are the best (pictured above)! The eye mask is silky smooth and the roller feels so wonderful on my skin in the mornings!

Preparing for Your Beauty Trial | Featuring Jazz It Up Artistry

Preparing for your wedding day usually consists of checklists of do’s and don’ts, to-do lists, and digging through blogs for the perfect vendors. After all, brides want to have the perfect wedding and a big part of that is the “look {aka – your dress, hair + make-up}”. You’ve chosen the perfect hair + make-up artist, and you’ve scheduled a trial to make sure your look can be executed to perfection. But what else can you do? Believe it or not, the success of your beauty trial depends on how you prepare. Check out some tips from our vendor pal, Jasmin Doublette, owner of Jazz It Up Artistry:

“So, you’ve been searching for the perfect team to perform beauty services for the wedding day and you have found them! Yay!“

“What’s the next step? Usually 3-6 months out from the wedding most brides book their trial run which is another term for a practice round before the wedding. This is where you’ll be able to test out any wants you were thinking for hair and makeup, as well as give the artist a chance to perfect the look you are going for so there are no surprises on the wedding day. So how do you prepare for your trial?“

Step 1

“Search the internet for inspiration.  Pinterest is a top favorite among most. Search for pictures of the look you want to accomplish. Think about the style of your wedding dress and what look you think would complement it the most {romantic, glam, boho, vintage, etc.}.”

Prep for your beauty trial by gathering inspiration images of your hair and make-up.

Step 2

“Purchase any accessories you are thinking of debuting on the big day for your hair and bring them to your beauty trial. This will give you a glimpse of how beautifully everything will come together and allow you to tweak accessories if they don’t look the way you hoped.”

Be sure to bring your wedding day accessories to your beauty trial.

Step 3

“Skin prep – drink water like a fish! Great water intake will ensure your skin is in tip-top shape for your beauty trial and more importantly, the big day.”

Bonus Tips

“Try not to bring too many friends with you to your appointment. Unlike a dress fitting, your beauty trial should be saved for 1-2 of your closest friends or family. Space is usually limited at a salon or makeup studio.”

“Use it, don’t lose it – Schedule your trial around a dress fitting or bridal shower if available. Why waste a full face of makeup and styled hair? No dress fitting or bridal shower to attend? No problem. Did someone say date night?!”

“Remember to stay true to yourself. Comfort level plays a big part in the look of your wedding day. So, try not to veer off too much from your normal. Example: if you are someone who normally wears your hair down, you probably won’t be super comfortable with the look of it being totally up, and vice versa, or if you don’t normally wear a full face of glam makeup, you probably won’t be totally comfortable with that for your wedding day.”

Bubba Feasting Table | Inventory Highlight

Our Bubba feasting tables seats up to 20 people!

The epitome of a table fit for royalty, our Bubba feasting table has enough elegance to elevate any event and the versatility to adapt to any vision or style. As one of the most unique and recognizable pieces in the RW Style inventory, Bubba is always ready to be the center of attention!

Although he may seem daunting because of his size, Bubba is surprisingly adaptable to any seating situation – he can be a showstopping head table for eight or a grand feasting table for twenty. Really want to make a statement? Rent a few Bubba tables to frame your dance floor or rent a few more and use them as reception tables to seat all your wedding guests.

Our Bubba feasting table works well with every style!

While his size makes him stand out in a crowd, his design is what makes him extraordinary. Although Bubba is the same size as two of our popular Caroline farm tables, his one-of-a-kind pedestal means there’s no seam where two Caroline tables would meet. Since Bubba’s base supports the middle of the table from underneath, there are no table legs for your guests to compete with – meaning you can fit an extra guest on each long side. Now that’s what I call ingenuity!

Rustic, glam, bohemian – Bubba can do it all. Check out these photos of him in action and I’m sure you’ll fall head over heels for him as I did.

Wedding Cake | Interview with a Baker

Love is sweet, but more importantly, so is your wedding cake!

We chatted with Michelle Crawford, Owner, Chef and Cake Artist of Bakers Cottage Cakes to go over all things delicious and learn a little more about her creative insights!

How did Bakers Cottage come to be?

“How much time do we have? ? It had been suggested that I should go to “cooking school”. My aunt was a very colorful lady and a bit rough around the edges, so when she made this suggestion, I believe it went something like, “You’re always making that “Foofoo Sh*t” (Can I say that?) and everyone seems to like it. I mean, I don’t like it but everyone else seems too” and well, crass or not, it planted the seed.

After earning a degree in Pastry and Baking, I worked as a baker at the Swan and Dolphin Hotel under a Chef that held the, “#1 Pastry Chef in the World” title and WOW, this was such an amazing experience!!! I went on to work for a small catering company as the pastry chef and it was there where I was bitten by the “Cake Bug”. I had the opportunity to make a few cakes and play with sugar art for the first time and I fell in love with the art of making cakes!

This was when I decided that if I put in the long hours working for myself that I had been dedicating to my employer, maybe I could build my own dream. I started off in my outdated tiny kitchen, which grew into having a small studio in my finished garage. From there, I juggled working from a commissary kitchen, my studio and office space I would rent to meet with clients. BUT… recently, as in the past couple of months, we have just moved into our own location! Yes Ma’am, we are OFFICIALLY a Wedding Cake Boutique!!!”

What made you fall in love with baking and cake decorating?

“Having the opportunity to create Edible works of Art! We eat with our eyes first, so it’s important to capture the attention of the guests who will eventually enjoy the cake. Sculpting Sugar Flowers is my all-time favorite thing to do!! I am obsessed with beautiful cakes and the detail that is in each complex cake design. “

Any trends you or your clients are loving?

“I love that our couples are being so imaginative lately! Even if they envision a more classic simplistic design, the hands-on approach with my client’s involvement with their designs excites me. If the design leans more towards an elegantly understated trend, then I get to play with the florals. The more elaborate a cake design the more playful I get to be, and I embrace any opportunity! I get to flex my artistic muscles.”

What’s your personal favorite cake flavor? Is there a crowd favorite amongst clients?

“This seriously depends on the time of year! Right now, I am all over our Vanilla Cake with Cinnamon Steusel, Apple Pie Filling and Swiss Meringue Buttercream!! Our Lemon Poppy Seed Cake with Blueberry Cream Cheese Filling and Swiss Meringue Buttercream is pretty tasty too. (You’ll find Alecia always asking for a slice of this ?)

However, our Coconut Cake with Berry Delicious Filling and French Meringue Buttercream is out of this world!!! Recently I have had one of the pair state that they really hated coconut, much to their partners dismay, who on all occasions, LOVED coconut. It tickles me, because the reaction is so extreme. On each and every occasion, they try our Coconut Cake and each time the partner that hated Coconut, LOVED IT! This weekend we have five weddings, four of them are with Coconut Cake!

A Client Favorite is definitely our Orange Almond Cake with Lavender Honey Caramel Filling. This is one of our Signature Flavors that I invented when I auditioned for the position as a pastry chef.”

How early do you recommend clients order their wedding cake?

“The earlier the better! We are usually one of the last vendors couples tend to book but we lose the opportunity to work with really wonderful people when they wait too long to reserve their order. One year may seem extreme, but it isn’t unheard of. Six months would be preferred for sure. “

The hanging cake chandelier, what gave you that idea? Would you say that is a signature of yours?

“Yes, It certainly has become a big thing for us! I came up with the idea when I walked into the Luxmore Grande Estate. A few months before visiting Luxmore, I had been doodling on a sketch pad one afternoon and sketched out a chandelier covered in flowers. I thought, wouldn’t this be a cool thing to do for a wedding. The very 1st time I walked into the Luxmore, my mouth dropped open seeing the amazing staircase. As I approached the passthrough, just under the landing, I told the person next to me, “someday I want to hang a cake right here”. They looked at me like “OK Crazy”. But HA! I got to do it! ?”

THE Ceremony Backdrop

The Cypress Grove Estate House gazebo makes for a stunning ceremony backdrop!
Photo: Miranda Grey Weddings

While the Grove House may be the hidden gem of Cypress Grove Park, the Estate House is by far the crown jewel 😉 While it has many features that set it apart, often our couples are drawn to the venue because of the lakefront gazebo. Nestled on Lake Jessamine, with the sun setting behind you, so many couples have exchanged forevers underneath the gazebo. The space can be personalized and dressed up to fit every style, color or theme you are hoping for, making it a picturesque ceremony backdrop.

The Gazebo

Standing beautifully even on its own, our couples do love to enhance the space with floral, draping or personal features to create a one-of-a-kind ceremony backdrop. Need some inspiration of your own? Take a look at some of our favorite ways to dress up the gazebo!

The ceremony backdrop at the Estate House sits on the cusp of Lake Jessamine and is surrounded by Cypress Trees dripping in Spanish Moss.

Draping

Looking for a simple way to create a soft and romantic feel? Add some draping! It’s a popular addition for most our couples and you can choose from a variety of colors and style it like curtains or wrap it around the posts. White draping pairs beautifully with our garden chairs and those can be accented with hints of greenery and floral as well!

Floral + Other Decor

When it comes to floral, we’ve seen couples pair arrangements for a symmetrical look, while others opt for a statement piece in the center or side of the gazebo. Looking for more drama? Add aisle décor or chair swags! Lanterns and glass votives down the aisle add a little extra something to the space, while a runner of foliage along the back of your chairs gives the space definition.

Hoping for something one of a kind? Incorporate key elements from your culture, your faith or the latest trend you can’t get out of your head! These brides took the space from a blank canvas and elevated it to be as unique as they are!

The gazebo remains a transformative space on the Estate House grounds and is yours to enhance how you please. Some couples choose to have it stand on its own. A clean, white slate surrounded by sun-kissed water and Spanish moss-draped trees. It’s a one-of-a-kind setting that is truly one of the most romantic places to say “I do”. Can you see your forever starting here?

Alecia

Planning Ahead | Rainy Day Weddings at Cypress Grove

You’ve planned. You’ve prepared… but have you really? Rainy-day weddings are often the biggest fear you’ll face, but it’s also the luckiest! It’s said to be good luck, signifying that your marriage will last. After all, a knot that becomes wet is hard to untie, so apply this to your marriage and it’ll be just as hard to unravel!

Even on rainy days, the tree lined drive at Cypress Grove Estate House still makes a stunning backdrop for couple's photos!
Photo: Ashley Jane Photography

So what can you do to prep for rain on your wedding day?

  • The best advice for your rainy-day insurance plan? Reserve a tent {preferably in advance}! Cypress Grove is a 100% outdoor facility, so there’s no option to move indoors. Booking a tent early ensures you’ll get the tent and any add-ons you want before everything is sold out ?
  • Check the forecasts. Weatherman predicting some showers? Why not give out umbrellas?
  • Keep your guests in the loop. Share normal weather conditions {and update it if the forecast changes week-of} on your wedding website and let guests know ahead of time you’ve reserved an all-outdoor venue.
  • Work with your vendors. They prepare for rain just like you do so they’ll be paying extra attention to the forecast and you!
  • Use the lighting to your advantage! Photographers often prefer overcast days, plus it gives you an excuse to cuddle under an umbrella (there’s a reason some of the best kissing scenes in the movies take place in the rain). Just think about Allie and Noah – how romantic!
This tent! Clear top, ivory draping, and chandeliers make this tent absolutely stunning, and a not-so-bad alternative.
Clear top tents are a great way to still let the outdoors in!

Reserving a tent ensures every little detail you planned, plus your guests, stay dry and comfortable. We like to think of tents as an outdoor ballroom that creates a lovely backdrop! Clear tents allow you to view the surroundings you fell in love with and white tents give photographers the perfect blank canvas! Which is your favorite?

White top tents really make photos pop and give couples a blank canvas when it comes to decor.
Photos: JP Pratt Photography

Reserving your tent ahead of time gives you the peace of mind needed to ensure that if a rain shower does sneak into the forecast, you don’t have last-minute anxiety about reserving something. And while rain on your wedding day is never the plan, the reality is, it happens. And if it does, staying positive and knowing you’ve prepared will be a sure way no stress creeps in on your special day. If it does rain, tents can be dressed up and personalized, and let’s be real, absolutely stunning!

Sperry tents are some of our favorites! They're inviting and have such a unique feel!

Blush Wedding Design Inspiration | Rentals, Attire, + Details

Blush Wedding Inspiration at Cypress Grove Estate House. Bold floral gives a stunning pop of color again a white backdrop.

Blush wedding palettes are a tried and true trend that does not seem to be going anywhere. However, we do see this color design evolving with new style and ideas being introduced, allowing for blush décor to feel fresh!

Some new takes on the blush wedding we love are;

  • Modern décor and accents
  • Shades of pink
  • The mix of blush and black
  • Blush and jewel tones

The classic color also lends itself well to a variety of wedding vibes. Below are four popular décor styles.

Blush decor, including a vintage dresser and upholstered chairs are subtle but give the perfect pop of color for a spring wedding.

Lounge furniture, tabletop décor, event seating, and linen are all very easy ways to incorporate blush into your design vision.

Gold decor chairs with a blush pad, specialty chargers, and velvet linen all add a sense of romance and elegance.

Beyond décor, you can also incorporate blush into other areas of your event. For example:

  • Signature Drinks
  • Custom stationery
  • Pink dessert and cake display
  • Bridal and groom attire (if you are feeling fashion-forward!)
  • Get away car! Who wouldn’t love to exit in their perfect pink chariot!
Who doesn't love a blush wedding gown!? It's subtle but oh, so feminine. Not a fan of colored gowns? Try pairing the traditional white or ivory gown with blush shoes, or have your groom wear a fashion-forward blush or mauve suit.
Blush cocktails, a wedding cake, and dessert shooters are a fun and unexpected way to incorporate color into your wedding day design.

Make sure to drop us a line if you need help planning your perfectly pink day!

RW Events | We Love Our Clients!

This time last month, the RW Events team was in final prep mode for our first client appreciation event! The event took place just before school started as a last summer hoorah, and to thank our clients for trusting us with their events. Confirming vendors, sending out reminders, and finalizing all the little details was a major fête and our team pulled everything together flawlessly!

Custom balloon arches adorned the gazebo and front of the Estate House for the RW Events client appreciation event.

Our pals, Evelyn and Kerline (of Joie de Vie Events), helped Amaris man the welcome desk while Alecia and Megan got in on the fun 😉

We have the best vendor pals! Thanks so everyone that volunteered and sponsored!

From photo booths to caricature artists and specialty performers, we had a little something for everyone! Past and current clients also enjoyed carnival games + rides, tasty treats, and amazing giveaways from Miscellaneous Market and some of our vendor pals.

Custom photo backdrops, a caricature artist, and Jenga were just a few of the activities clients got to enjoy.
The giveaways from our shop were ah-mazing! SO many goodies from vendor pals were sponsored, too!

The day ended with a friendly game of tug-of-war between clients and the RW Events team! Can you guess who won?

The Estate House at Cypress Grove was the perfect location for our event. The green space became home to games, food trucks, and more! The RW Events team went up against clients in a tug-of-war to end the event.

We can’t wait for our next event!

Kim

Bridal Boutique | Winter Park Fashion Showcase

The Bridal Finery | Fashion Showcase

Throughout the month of June, The Bridal Finery hosted fashion presentations in their Winter Park bridal boutique. Their presentations feature what is currently trending in bridal fashion, beauty, and wedding decor. Wedding professionals, local influencers, and real brides attend this event, and The Bridal Finery Fashion Director, Jamie O’Neill invited us to provide a curated collection of rental pieces to showcase.

Floral: In Bloom | Sweets: Bakers Cottage Cakes

The Inspiration

Romantic, wild summer blooms inspired this summer’s bridal presentations. Jamie loves to encourage brides to choose unexpected wedding colors and textures for their big day so varying shades of blue, lavender, beige, and mustard were incorporated into the color palette. In Bloom’s wild and romantic design paired perfectly with the overall aesthetic and featured pampas grass and roses. We chose a selection of rental pieces that complimented the floral inspiration as well as the bridal boutique setting {including Slate Settee, Amelia, Gwen, and Walnut}.

Unique Experiences

The Bridal Finery is known for their one fitting room experience. By styling one bride at a time, brides receive the ultimate bridal experience. For the fashion presentations, the large fitting room was the backdrop for the event. Our collection of rentals brought the full vision together and transformed the room into a romantic, dreamy space.!

Wedding Bouquets | The Floral Recipe

Let’s face it. Wedding bouquets may not be the star of the show (because you are of course!), but it sure can be a showstopper! I like to think of it as an extension, or better yet, a culmination of your entire vision. Your bouquet should reflect the colors, style, and uniqueness of your wedding. If your wedding were a book, your bouquet would be the short summary on the back cover that captures the reader’s attention!

What’s your style?

Maybe you’re traditional and prefer a tight, constructed ball of flowers with minimal greenery. Maybe you’re a bit more romantic and you like the cascading or teardrop bouquet. Or if you’re like me, you’re trendy and can’t wait to carry a loose and organic deconstructed wedding bouquet with lots of greenery, filler, and large vibrant blooms.

We are spotlighting the deconstructed style, one that you’ll often see in weddings with lots of greenery and natural character.

One of my favorite “stunning wedding bouquets” comes from our “till death” photoshoot at the Sydonie Mansion. The mixture of tones, blooms, and textures make this bohemian bouquet a real showstopper!

Photo: Sara Kae Photography

This bouquet features all of the elements that make for a stunning floral focus. Because this bouquet has so many varying tones, flowers, and textures, with anemones, dahlias, and roses, it creates a very dynamic look. The addition of the cascading floral adds a bit of romance, and the fluctuating heights gives it the deconstructed look perfect for the non-traditional, bohemian, and even a little edgy bride.

What is your floral style? We would love to hear about it!

Xoxo,
Chelsea

Getting Ready | The Estate House Bridal Suite

Getting Ready Moments at the Cypress Grove Estate House

Bridal portraits in the Cypress Grove Estate House bridal suite are classic!

The Cypress Grove Estate House Bridal Suite, aka the room of perfection! Where bridal portrait dreams come to life and every bride gets to dress in the delicate and romantic room of her dreams. Natural light floods the space, highlighting each unique piece of antique furniture curated to complete the room. The fainting couch has to be my personal favorite spot ? Between the mirror adorned walls, provincial fireplace, and delicate floral accents, you will find endless photo opportunities along with the ideal spot for getting ready on your big day!

The bridal suite at Cypress Grove Estate house offers lots of natural light, making it an ideal location for bridal portraits.

Let those closest to you share in the getting ready experience and assist with the final touches to make your bridal look complete! You won’t want to fasten those shoes yourself, ladies! If you ask Mom, Grandma, your sister, best friend or whoever may be sharing in the moment with you, this will be the most special to them! The suite becomes the backdrop as you transform into the bride you’ve always dreamed of being. Just wait until your fiancé sees you! Better yet…wait till Dad sees you! Cue the tears!

The bridal suite at Cypress Grove Estate House is private and is a great location for first looks with dad.

The first look with dad gets me every time! There is something so incredibly special about a father or a special man in your life seeing you as a bride for the first time. His little girl is all grown up and the tears are from a place of happiness and joy as well as a slight sadness knowing he now has to share you. The bridal suite may be the perfect backdrop for fun moments, but the room also holds so many incredible memories such as like the one shared above, the make the room the true treasure of the house.

Not to get too emotional on you but it’s so true! Then again, prior to seeing dad, you must show your girls just how incredible you look, after all, they have been your biggest support, oohing and awing from the time to first went shopping to seeing the dress arrive on wedding day.

Pop some bubbly, snap a pic for the gram and celebrate the love you share as a group of friends!

The bridal suite at Cypress Grove is large enough to accommodate all your maids!

And who could forget about the little details or private moments that you’ll be so thankful to have captured? Insert all the heart eye emojis!

The Cypress Grove Estate House bridal suite features stunning antique furniture, perfect for featuring in your bridal portraits.

Aside from the inevitable incredible images, our brides love that there is a private space all to their own on wedding day. Especially with the sunroom located adjacent for hair and makeup, the space remains cool and calm and makes for the perfect escape when you need a moment to retreat and just breathe. The day will absolutely fly by despite the getting ready part dragging on. Why not celebrate and surround yourself with the ladies (and gents) that support you in the ideal feminine and delicate space fit for any bride!?

Can you picture it? Slipping into the gown you’ve always imagined. Reading a note from the one you love just moments before heading down the aisle….yea, I’m the hopeless romantic on the team here, but if you’re gushing over the room as I do, come and see for yourself just how beautiful the suite is!

Alecia
